Leading Insmed has been a journey of continuous learning since 2012. We've grown from a company of 30 people with zero enterprise value working out of a building with a leaking roof to one with more than 1,500 colleagues around the world committed to serving patients with serious diseases. “When we’re in, we are all in” isn’t just something we say; it’s an active promise to put patients, our employees, and our communities first in everything we do. My path here wasn't traditional—I started in government, then moved onto investment banking, and then transitioned into biopharma. Each of these experiences taught me invaluable lessons about building teams that can tackle complex challenges. What drives me is creating environments where people surprise themselves with what they can accomplish. There's nothing more rewarding than watching talented individuals exceed their own expectations while making medicines that have the potential to truly help patients.
