About

For more than a decade, I’ve worked at the center of the tech ecosystem; helping founders, executives, and engineering leaders build, scale, and manage high-performing software teams through Vention. That work gave me something far more valuable than a résumé line: a clear view into how innovation actually moves. Every day, I watch capital flow, founders execute under pressure, teams evolve, and markets shift in real time. Over the years, I realized something fundamental. The companies doing the most meaningful work aren’t always the companies the ecosystem hears about. The execution is strong, but the story gets diluted. The signal doesn’t match the substance. So I started publishing what I see: daily funding movements, ecosystem patterns, strategic insights, and the narratives that actually drive momentum. My goal is simple. Make the tech landscape clearer, sharper, and easier for operators, builders, and leaders to understand. This perspective has shaped my work inside Vention as well. Leading engagements across early-stage startups and enterprise teams has taught me how teams really scale, how decisions get made, and how the right narrative can accelerate trust, alignment, and execution. Today, my focus spans two lanes: 1. Operational leadership: Supporting clients at Vention as they build and scale engineering teams. 2. Ecosystem insight and storytelling: Publishing daily breakdowns on where innovation and capital are moving, and helping leaders articulate the story behind their work. I believe the future belongs to the builders who can communicate clearly, execute consistently, and make sense of the environment around them. I use my experience across both lanes to connect those dots. If you’re building something meaningful, or navigating the complexity of today’s tech ecosystem, I’m always open to a conversation.

Oct 2024Present · 1 yr 5 mos · Oceanside, New York, United States · Hybrid

  • I founded the Jesse Landry practice to focus on the work I’ve spent years refining: narrative clarity, executive storytelling, and ecosystem perspective. After two decades supporting founders, executives, and engineering leaders across the tech ecosystem, I built a dedicated independent practice to help leaders communicate with precision and tell the story behind their work.
  • My focus is straightforward: give founders and executives the narrative strength to match the importance of what they’re building. That includes story development, message clarity, positioning, and the strategic communication frameworks that help leaders articulate value, build trust, and connect with their market.
  • I work directly with a select group of leaders across venture capital, enterprise technology, and high-growth startups through structured engagements and ongoing narrative partnerships.
