About

I cover the cybersecurity vendor and technology landscape including mergers and acquisitions, startups, and emerging trends, with a focus on what's relevant for Chief Information Security Officers (CISOs) as Executive Editor, Business at Information Security Media Group (ISMG). Prior to joining ISMG, I spent four and a half years covering all the major cybersecurity vendors at CRN, with a focus on their programs and offerings for IT service providers. I was recognized by the American Society of Business Publication Editors (ASBPE) for my breaking news coverage of the August 2019 coordinated ransomware attack against local governments in Texas, as well as by The Software & Information Industry Association (SIIA) for my continued reporting around the SolarWinds hack in late 2020 and early 2021. Prior to joining CRN, I covered technology, manufacturing, banking and real estate at the Worcester Business Journal in Massachusetts from 2013 to 2014, and was a business and county government reporter for the Times Herald-Record in Middletown, N.Y. from 2010 to 2013. I was born and raised in Farmington Hills, Mich., and hold a bachelor‘s degree in political science from Haverford College in Haverford, Pa.
