I am passionate about spearheading the transformation of entrepreneurship education in higher educational institutions across India with Bizstart, our pre-incubation technology platform. We align with government initiatives to promote entrepreneurship and innovation on a broader scale. At Bizstart, we're dedicated to bridging the following four crucial gaps: - Empowering educators within higher educational institutions in Tier 2, 3 and 4 cities, and Rural India, ensuring no talent is left untapped. - Offering a comprehensive platform for Entrepreneurship Learning and Development for both educators and students, nurturing future innovators. - Using data-driven metrics to evaluate program effectiveness and monitor student progress, ensuring impactful results. Enhancing inclusivity and accessibility by providing resources in local languages - Hindi, Gujarati…ensuring equal opportunities for all aspiring entrepreneurs. How did it start? After nearly two decades in the corporate world, I was looking for a more purposeful path. Thus, in 2018, I left my job to solve a big problem: assisting aspiring entrepreneurs in identifying the right business and empowering them to start confidently. During a trial 6-week Entrepreneurship E-Lab program that I launched in 2019 for career-change enthusiasts, a pivotal moment arose when a participant expressed her desire to launch an online clothing business. She sought guidance and requested a connection with an experienced business owner, a resource I unfortunately did not possess at the time. This got me thinking. What if I could create an 'Opportunity Discovery Platform' where aspiring entrepreneurs could study 100s of innovative business opportunities across the industry, schedule calls with verified established entrepreneurs in that industry, and also study verified financial plans before taking a plunge into the world of entrepreneurship? And what if I could leverage technology to do that on a scale across India and potentially globally? This was my eureka moment, my calling. What started as a business idea in November 2019 has evolved into a B2B platform for colleges today. After talking to more than 800 business owners and conducting 120+ webinars, I have realised that a scalable technology platform that provides business intelligence and acceleration services could help me reach my goal on a big scale.
