About

An engineer by training and industry analyst by profession. In my current role as a Research Analyst at LNS, my work typically ebbs and flows through conducting research projects, writing reports and blogs, advising members, attending briefings, and participating in industry events. With over 9 years in the research & advisory business, I’ve built my core competencies on three pillars: learning the craft first-hand from seasoned LNS analysts, hands-on experience in manufacturing and supply chain operations across two verticals, and a deep passion for using data-driven, analytical approaches to solve industrial problems. Prior to that, I worked in manufacturing roles in both corporate and shop-floor environments. At Hyundai Motor India, I gained my first exposure to high-volume automotive production and continuous improvement on the shop floor. At ARRIS (now CommScope), I shifted into supply chain analytics, automating reporting workflows, building dashboards, structuring complex datasets, and driving improvements in S&OP processes. These formative experiences introduced me to manufacturing and also strengthened my analytical skills. Before officially entering the workforce, I co-founded Namma Café, a fully functional student-run café on campus during my time at Kumaraguru College of Technology, my alma mater. As one of the two heads of operations, I learned to manage the business end-to-end, balancing priorities, navigating different viewpoints, managing suppliers, and delivering results while being a full-time student. Two fascinating years at this venture taught me more about business, decision-making, and leadership than an MBA program ever could. Outside work, I enjoy road trips, historical fiction, gangster films, and experimenting with cooking.

  • Namma Café is an entrepreneurship venture founded at Kumaraguru College of Technology in 2012, operating as a fully functional on-campus café designed to provide students hands-on experience in running a real business. As Head of Operations, I led end-to-end operational strategy and execution, overseeing daily production, product placement strategy, vendor management, and demand planning.
  • During my two-year tenure, the café achieved $10,000 in record monthly sales, ranked 5th out of 700 teams in the Tata First Dot National Startup Competition 2013. My proudest achievement, however, was during the last 12 months when my team successfully built a lean, cost-efficient supply chain, driving a 34% reduction in COGS, a 71% decrease in safety stock, and a 23% decrease in stock-outs through data analysis and process optimization using lean and other continuous improvement methods.
