As the Creative Director at Ansa Interiors, with 22 years of experience in interior and architectural design, my journey has spanned 39 cities, six countries, and 2753 projects. Along the way, I’ve had the privilege of wearing many hats—mother, wife, author, anchor, professor, and more—but at the core, my career and my child have always remained my greatest priorities. There are moments when I wonder if I’ve done justice to all these roles. As women, we tend to be too hard on ourselves, striving to excel in every role we play—be it as a mother, homemaker, daughter, or wife. But over time, I’ve learned that the goal isn’t perfection. It’s about giving our best in every moment, and releasing the guilt when things don’t go exactly to plan. My professional path has been incredibly enriching. I’ve authored a book, written for almost every major magazine in India, as well as several international publications. I’ve judged design shows and have been honored with 29 awards and accolades from prestigious institutions. The diversity of interactions I’ve had, with people from different sectors, cultures, and genders, has reshaped my own perspective, helping me grow not just as a designer, but as a person. Design is an extension of my soul, a journey of self-discovery that mirrors my inner happiness. As a Theta healer who practices meditation every day, I find that my work allows me to express my emotions and connect with a deeper part of myself. Ultimately, the greatest reward is seeing the joy on my clients’ faces—there’s nothing more fulfilling. Through it all, I’ve come to realize that giving my best is enough. And that’s a truth I hold close.
