• As the CTO of Photobooth Supply Co., I spearheaded a transformation of the struggling engineering department. This involved attracting and hiring top talent, implementing software development best practices, and pivoting the entire company to become a product-led organization.
• Thanks to these efforts, revenue grew by 250% during my tenure. We launched two new products and achieved a 750% increase in team velocity, which is a combination of efficiency and capacity.
• In addition to growth, we implemented proper and efficient DevOps best practices, and focused on improving the stability of the entire software product suite. This included fixing high-priority issues and reducing the total bug count by 90% over the course of 12 months.
• Most importantly, I took a siloed and non-collaborative team and instilled a sense of pride and ownership and injected much-needed energy and peace, allowing the engineering team to restore trust with the company as a whole and become an incredibly high-functioning, respectful, and trustworthy team.

• Built out multiple products and teams for Corva, scaling them from zero users up to billions of transactions and terabytes of data throughput each day.
• Created the infrastructure and tools to turn Corva from a product to a platform, similar to Facebook’s 2007 transformation.
• Built the data pipeline, real-time alerts engine, and reporting systems, among many other infrastructure components and microservices to support the size and scale of Corva.
• Created software and firmware for bulletproof endpoint devices that collect data in the field.
• Hired and managed multiple small and medium-sized teams, mentoring and coaching them; many have since founded their own companies and taken leadership roles in other companies.

• Built a payment and event platform for donating to various causes, including churches, charities, and non-profits. Company had a successful exit and sale.

• I'm CTO and partner of RINDR, a new company for powering the easiest hand-edited automobile videos for automotive dealerships.
• We've built this platform to be very simple to use, so that an internet manager can film custom videos for the vehicles in their inventory and instantly include them on their website with our lightweight and well-designed website integrations.
• Company has since been sold and closed.

• As director and lead engineer, I acted as technical lead for a small but powerful team of people on a mission to help bring data and technology to farmers in developing countries to help them grow their crops more successfully and efficiently, and to buffer them from natural and man-made disasters.
• I conceived and implemented a bleeding-edge (for the time) CI/CD cycle, which helped the team release verified, high quality software with automated testing, QA, and deployments, starting from standardized developer environments with Vagrant, and eventually Dockerized deployments.
• I also managed and automated all sysadmin and team tasks, including autoscaling, server provisioning, disaster recovery, backups, and more.

• I built or had my hands in nearly everything for this automotive tech startup, launched new products, and then hired and led multiple diverse engineering teams in-person and remotely. We scaled the company from 1 to 150+ people over the course of about 3 years, and went from 0 customers to thousands, serving tens of millions of hits daily on a web-based platform for dealerships to promote and sell their vehicles.
• I oversaw the hiring, growth, and development of about 40 members in the engineering department, building out various specialized teams as well as generalists to support cross-team collaboration. As an underdog in the industry, I’m proud of how much we accomplished with a fraction of the resources that our competitors had. The team outpaced established competition with a superior product and customer service, and the company sold for a large multiplier of the initial investment.

• Created and implemented a unified web framework for all Overhead Door websites and applications, and built out a Salesforce-like CRM tool with it to help manage external clients. I improved the company reporting system to be standardized, and fixed performance problems, which took daily reporting from a 3-hour process to 1 minute.

• I redesigned and developed Concentra's public websites and intranet, including dozens of helpful public and private-facing apps such as a medical center locator, contact management system, news system, and search engine. I also spearheaded and implemented a migration of all 11,000 employees into Active Directory, so we could support SSO across the entire organization.
