• In my multifaceted role, I ensured internal cohesion, aligning 15 team members across development, analytics, and sales towards shared goals. Externally, I spearheaded business development, exploring new markets in the US, DACH, and UAE, managing investor relations, navigating new legal regulations, overseeing reporting, and driving marketing and sales initiatives.
• Everything was progressing smoothly until we uncovered a disturbing revelation: one of the founders had been engaging in speculative trading with our clients' deposits. Requesting discretionary trading permissions from clients rather than utilizing our algorithmic trading software, he precipitated significant losses in their accounts. Subsequently, the primary investor opted to withdraw participation, leading to the company's immediate insolvency in January 2024.
