About

Here I share insights on hiring, B2B SaaS growth and content marketing in this age of AI-driven search. Currently, I lead the content team at Productive Shop, a Toronto-based B2B SaaS marketing consultancy that helps technology companies build and scale their content operations, increase thought leadership, snatch organic market share and generate leads. As an early hire (employee #5), I built our entire content operations from the ground up. I now manage a growing team of high-performing technology writers, GEO/SEO editors and strategists who specialize in helping top B2B SaaS brands in the U.S. connect with buyers across industries like cybersecurity, FinTech, DevOps, cloud infrastructure, business automation and more. Productive Shop has been at the forefront of the latest B2B SaaS and marketing trends, using AI agents to streamline operations and adapting our content output to the shift in how B2B buyers shop for technology software (so we can help our clients drive leads not only from Google searches but also from gen AI tools like ChatGPT, Gemini and Perplexity). I started my career in newsrooms, working for 10 years as a technology reporter and columnist before transitioning to academia. My drive for continuous learning led me to pursue a PhD in English — my doctoral research was funded by the prestigious Social Sciences and Humanities Research Council of Canada (SSHRC) Fellowship. I’m now based in Dallas, Texas, after living the past 15 years in Canada. When I'm off the clock, I'm cycling, logging long runs or traveling the world. I’m currently training to take on the Berlin Marathon this fall.
