• I joined PetaSecure, an early stage startup focusing on enterprise security, as a cofounder to lead Data Science and Machine Learning. We were one of six companies chosen by Cisco for their Spring 2014 Entrepreneurs in Residence Program and the company was eventually acquired by Niara.
• In my stint at PetaSecure, I designed and implemented a generic anomaly detection framework on top of the Splunk platform as a custom splunk command that worked on arbitrary logs. I also implemented a Splunk custom command for classification. I played a key role in several customer demonstrations and investor pitches.
• At Niara, I oversaw the design and implementation of several machine learning models that are now a core part of the Niara Security Analytics platform. I focused especially on the user and entity behavior analytics modules.
