About

I started writing professionally at 20, though in hindsight, I had been training for it since I was 15. I loved writing essays in exams. I always had too much to say and never enough time. That probably should have been my first sign. Still, I chose the practical route and pursued a degree in Business Administration. I enjoyed Economics, but writing always had the upper hand. In my final year, when Covid slowed everything down, I had the space to introspect. That is when I consciously chose content over statistics. Since then, my work has taken many shapes. I have worked in Branding and PR in the education space and picked up SEO and website building along the way. I leaned into my long-standing love for sports by pursuing a degree in Journalism, which led me to work as a Sports Journalist with one of India’s leading newspapers for about a year. I later moved back to my hometown and now work as a sub-editor for a US-based social media platform, covering US politics and sports culture. Alongside this, I have freelanced across industries including fashion, media, and weddings, because storytelling has never belonged to just one beat for me. Writing has always been the throughline. The medium changes and the subject shifts, but the instinct to tell stories has stayed the same.
