As a journalist, I specialize in data-driven storytelling, copyediting, and editorial product strategy. My journey began in 2009, when I built a popular, award-winning satirical news website while at college. I then spent two years teaching at a Delhi municipal school, before turning to journalism in 2016. I'm now part of the editorial leadership at a leading Indian business daily. My role involves leading its data journalism vertical and overseeing its digital growth strategy from an editorial lens. I'm passionate about promoting data literacy and demystifying numbers for journalists, college students, and readers alike, through my work and training sessions. Based in New Delhi, I enjoy making travel plans, solving maths problems, and reading trivia in my free time.
