Ask Marzban Patel how it all began and he’ll tell you it started with a small team, big dreams, and a belief that India’s story deserved a global stage. Over 45 years later, that belief has grown into Mediascope— a media representation company that works with some of the world’s most trusted names, from Financial Times, Bloomberg, CNN, and TIME to Forbes, Fortune, National Geographic, Nikkei, and Khaleej Times. Marzban has always been equal parts entrepreneur and storyteller. He cut his teeth in the early days making cold calls and building relationships one conversation at a time. Today, those conversations span boardrooms across India, the Middle East, APAC and the Western world. Through it all, his mantra has stayed the same: hard work, honesty, and the ability to listen beat everything else. Advertising was practically in his DNA. His father, Burjor Patel, was a towering figure in India’s advertising community, and their home often played host to some of the sharpest minds in the industry. For a young Marzban, those living-room debates about the future of communication were the best education he could ask for. Never one to stand still, he’s expanded beyond media representation into publishing, digital networks, and most recently, his passion project: Encore Studios. It’s India’s first unified performing arts network—a way to blend his love for culture and music with his instinct for building platforms that connect brands and audiences in memorable ways. What he’s most proud of, though, isn’t the global logos on Mediascope’s roster. It’s the people. Many of his colleagues have been with him for decades, bound by loyalty, trust, and a shared vision. For Marzban, that’s the real measure of success. Because at the end of the day, advertising isn’t just about media buys. For him, it has always been about credibility, trust, and stories that cross borders and connect people.
