Hi there, nice to meet you. I'm Shruthi, a Chartered Accountant by profession and a writer by passion. I currently work as an Internal Auditor at a Non-banking financial company (NBFC) specializing in Risk management through the performance of Financial, Operational, and Compliance audits. I have got the opportunity to audit across a varied range of portfolios and departments. In addition to Internal Auditing, I have also had the experience of leading Statutory audits, Tax audits and Bank audits during my articleship training. As the business world is becoming more data-driven, I believe it has become essential to use data analytics to gather more insight from the numbers. And so as a part of my daily work, I have been trying to get my hands on data tools and like - Tableau, SQLite, KNIME, and Power Bi. Over my last 6 years of experience as an Internal Auditor, I have particularly become fascinated by the fraud prevention and detection side of audits. So to build on this interest, I have pursued and got Internationally Certified as a Fraud Examiner (CFE). Lastly about me, I am a storyteller who is passionate about writing. An avid reader and a lover of fiction whose favorite job in the world once was to become a Librarian. (It still is :p). I am inquisitive about anything and everything and love deep conversations.
