• As a trustee of Ashinaga UK, I am proud to contribute to empowering orphaned students in Africa.
• Ashinaga is a Japanese NGO supporting orphaned students globally by providing financial aid, emotional support, and access to higher education. Since its founding in Japan, Ashinaga has supported over 100,000 students and expanded internationally, opening offices in Uganda, Senegal, the US, the UK, and France. Its Ashinaga Africa Initiative (AAI) empowers orphaned students from 49 Sub-Saharan African countries to pursue higher education at top institutions worldwide. The program nurtures future leaders committed to advancing democracy, economic growth, and poverty eradication in their home countries.
