About

I recently stepped into a new role as VP and GM of FastTrack, where I lead the teams that help organizations of every size adopt Microsoft 365, accelerate cloud and AI transformation, and realize value faster through prescriptive guidance and hands-on assistance. FastTrack sits at the center of how customers deploy Copilot, modernize security, and reimagine how work gets done in an AI-powered world. Before this, I served as VP of Customer and Strategic Initiatives, partnering directly with enterprise customers to understand how they deploy, secure, and scale Microsoft 365, including Microsoft Copilot, and translating those insights into product direction across Microsoft. This work deepened my understanding of enterprise adoption, change management, and customer needs, forming a natural foundation for my transition into FastTrack. Earlier in my career, I spent nearly three decades on the PowerPoint team, ultimately serving as VP and GM, where I led applied science, data science, engineering, product management, technical program management teams. During that time, I helped evolve PowerPoint from a standalone application into a cloud-connected, AI-driven platform that empowers hundreds of millions of people to communicate their ideas with clarity and impact. I also serve as Microsoft’s Bay Area Engineering Site Leader, supporting a broad portfolio of teams working across consumer and commercial products, from incubating new v1 bets to scaling established platforms used worldwide. Our region brings together experts in software, hardware, and AI who are building next-generation capabilities, from cloud services and collaboration tools to AI platforms and end-user AI experiences. And since 2023, I’ve been the executive sponsor for HOLA (Hispanic & Latinx Organization of Leaders in Action) in the Bay Area, championing community, mentorship, and representation across Microsoft.

  • In this role, I worked closely with some of Microsoft’s most strategic enterprise customers, gaining direct insight into how they deployed, secured, and scaled Microsoft 365, including Microsoft Copilot. I engaged with IT and business leaders to understand their goals and the obstacles they faced in moving to modern, cloud-powered work.
  • I converted this feedback into action by partnering with product and engineering teams across Microsoft to adjust roadmaps, refine experiences, and strengthen our enterprise readiness. This customer-centered work gave me a deep view into adoption, change management, and security, experience that directly informed my transition to leading FastTrack and helping organizations accelerate their cloud and AI transformation.

  • Over nearly three decades, I’ve led the evolution of PowerPoint into the global product it is today, guiding the team through profound transformations in culture, scale, and innovation. I oversaw the growth of the organization to 350+ people across five geographies, evolving from a Windows/Mac-only client product to a cross-platform, service-backed experience spanning desktops, web, iOS, and Android.
  • Under my leadership, PowerPoint shifted from a three-year release cycle to continuous shipping, expanded its capabilities with new disciplines in Technical Program Management, Data Science, and Applied Science, and pioneered one of Office’s first AI successes with PowerPoint Designer, laying the foundation for Copilot. I also drove the introduction of PowerPoint Live to reimagine presenting in a remote-first world. Today, PowerPoint supports hundreds of millions of monthly active users worldwide, a testament to the enduring scale and impact of the product and team.
