• This was a fantastic opportunity where I was recruited and worked directly with the incoming CTO to take the company forward towards its biggest transition since VC funding.

• I worked on building and deploying key services into AWS, developed, deployed and scaled the RabbitMQ/Go based services that powered Freelancers realtime notification/chat system - rebuilding live chat for Freelancer.com to serve 20m daily chats across 60m users globally, created a URL shortener and redirect service as part of a hackathon project and worked on the design and development of Freelancer Accounts - an OAuth2 based service that provided a single sign on for the Freelancer family (incl. Warrior Forum, Freelancer, Escrow and more).
• During my time I also delivered a talk to students at USYD on 'How Freelancer Gets To Production' which was well received and run subsequently that focussed how we go from inception -> production level deployment.
• I worked with Head of Product to technically de-scope and plan product delivery and also helped with the setup and organisation of themed Hackathons.
