As MD - DeVC, my mission is to redefine what it means to be a truly "founder-first investor" as someone who’s lived the journey himself. But let’s rewind to where this journey began. ⏪ When I exited The Moms Co. to Good Glamm Group in 2022, I found myself at a crossroads. I had a successful exit & the time to explore different paths, but I wasn’t sure what came next. In the next two years following, I explored different paths—retirement 🏖️, angel investing 💸, content creation 🎥, and even coding as a second-time founder 💻. But every time, the moments that excited me most were those spent helping founders through their toughest challenges: - Through my 30 angel investments, I loved being the person founders came to for discussions on funding strategy, brand plans, and even tough personal topics like the guilt they felt being away from family. - Through my content, I found a way to share learnings and insights, hoping founders wouldn’t make the same mistakes I did. - Through my travels, I kept spotting new ideas and thinking about the perfect founder for each one back home in India. 🚀 The more I explored, the sharper my vision for the future became. In this next chapter, "I want to help Founders succeed". Enter DeVC, 2023. After doing 10 angel deals with the team, I knew this was where this purpose could truly come alive. DeVC stands for "Distributed VC"; it’s a fund that lives by the mantra: ‘For Founders, By Founders.’ 💡 We offer hands-on support from those who’ve lived the ups and downs of the founder journey. 🔹 The Team: Between Aakash, Divyanshi, Rahul and I, we've launched companies, faced failure, scaled against the odds, and exited on both good and bad terms.
