About

I am the Founder and Managing Partner of AC8 Partners (formerly Panthera Advisors), a premier investment banking and financial consulting firm specializing in M&A, capital fundraising, company valuations, and strategic planning. In my spare time, I write for Forbes and host the DealMakers podcast, where I interview some of the most successful entrepreneurs around the world. Previously, I cofounded Onevest/CoFoundersLab, which, with 500,000+ registered entrepreneurs, became one of the largest online communities of founders. In addition to building a world-class team across several offices, I led multiple rounds of financing with top-tier VCs and oversaw the company’s acquisition by a media corporation. Within less than a year, Onevest/CoFoundersLab was recognized by TIME as one of the best platforms globally, named one of the top 10 digital tools for entrepreneurs by Forbes, and highlighted by Business Insider as one of the hottest startups to watch. Before Onevest, I worked as a lawyer at King & Spalding, where I was involved in one of the largest investment arbitration cases in history: Chevron v. Ecuador ($113 billion at stake). As an active speaker, I have given guest lectures at Wharton, Columbia Business School, and NYU. I’ve been recognized in Vanity Fair's 30 Under 30, Entrepreneur Magazine’s Top 30 under 30, GQ's Top 33 Under 33, and by TechCrunch as one of the expats shaping New York’s tech scene. I am also the author of The Art of Startup Fundraising. With a foreword by ‘Shark Tank’ star Barbara Corcoran, and published by John Wiley & Sons, the book was named one of the best fundraising books of all time by Book Authority and one of the best books for entrepreneurs by Inc. Magazine. I’ve been invited to the White House and the US House of Representatives to provide insights on new regulatory changes concerning fundraising for entrepreneurs and small businesses.
