International CEO & Board Member, Transformation and Growth Leader Since 2016, I have been the Global CEO of Coface, the world reference in credit insurance and risk management. With more than 5 300 employees in 70 countries, Coface helps its clients to effectively monitor, prevent and manage total credit risk exposures of over € 720 Bn in 200 countries. My career began in 1987 at The Mac Group Strategy consultancy (now Gemini Consulting). After a stint in the Insurance Industry at Covea leading Strategic Projects and M&A, I joined the former Groupe Sovac as CEO of their Mortgage Bank, before it was acquired by GE in 1995. I then led a 19 year international career with GE Capital, leading over the years increasingly large and complex businesses in 30 countries over the Americas, Europe and Asia, through both growth/acquisition, and restructuring/transformation agendas. This culminated as CEO of GE Capital Asia Pacific, a 100 Bn $ balance sheet spanning a wide range of financial services, from consumer loans and cards to leasing, structured finance, private equity and retail banking. I have been the Chair or a Board Member of regulated banks or financial services entities in over 14 countries, including sitting on the Boards or as CEO of 4 large listed companies. Beyond work, I am also passionate about sports ( squash, ski, windsurf ). I love music which I learned from a young age academically, and still play jazz in bands and clubs to this date. In an ever-changing world, I focus on leading teams through deep transformations, bringing together a unique ability to craft winning strategies with the capacity to execute effectively. I focus on driving teams to embrace truth and effective collaboration as key drivers of performance. To me, working with a team is like playing in a jazz band.
