• During this judicial internship, I had the opportunity to work under the supervision of three Judicial Magistrates – Sri Mrinal Aryan, Sri Animesh Ranjan, and Sri Ehsan Rashid – at the Court of Judicial Magistrate 1st Class, Jamui.
• Over the course of three weeks, I gained extensive exposure to the functioning of trial courts and actively observed daily courtroom proceedings involving both civil and criminal matters. I developed practical insights into key procedural aspects under BNSS, BNS, CrPC, CPC, and several special laws including the Information Technology Act, Negotiable Instruments Act, Dowry Prohibition Act, Domestic Violence Act, and Public Gambling Act.
• I also observed case filing, framing of charges, bail arguments, witness examination, and final arguments. This internship greatly enhanced my understanding of courtroom decorum, case handling, and trial mechanisms.
• Throughout the internship, I maintained punctuality, discipline, and demonstrated a professional and inquisitive approach, which was duly appreciated by all the presiding officers.
• Grateful to the Principal District & Sessions Judge, Jamui for the opportunity and continued encouragement in my legal journey.
