With the Esports Coaching Academy we want to fuel esports businesses focused on community building and grassroots talent development around the world and make it possible for anyone with enough passion to build their club and start changing lives for the better.

• Developed and set up the competitive ecosystem around the game KARDS, featuring recurring championships, open tournaments and an in person World Championship.
• Worked with community based talent on establishing a caster/broadcast talent pool
• Formed and managed partnerships around the promotion and execution of tournaments within the KARDS competitive scene
• Led content development efforts and strategy around different content types
• Conceptualized, scripted and produced all official content around KARDS since joining the company (see examples below)
• Served as caster, host and face of all KARDS broadcasts and official content coming from 1939 Games around KARDS
• Planned and executed 3x World Championships spanning months of competition. In 2019 and 2021 facilitated the in person finals on LAN in Iceland.

• Through my time in Iceland working on esports I have been afforded opportunities to work on and assist on various different projects listed below:
• Collaborated with Business Iceland on securing the bid for the League of Legends Mid Season invitational and Valorant Masters tournaments and assisted in supporting Riot Games in their execution by facilitating communication and activation of local fans and media.
• Collaborated with Business Iceland on supporting Riot Games in bringing the League of Legends World Championship to Iceland
• Organized a reception for Riot Games esports leadership in coordination with Business Iceland and the Office of the President of Iceland.
• Received the distinction “Honorary host of Reykjavík” by Meet in Reykjavík and Business Iceland for contributions in securing and supporting these international events to Iceland.
• Temporarily chaired the esports committee for Nordic Innovation House in New York facilitating network building in esports across the Nordics and connection of the Nordic and US markets in esports.
• Wrote and starred in my own talkshow on gaming and esports titled “Talað um Tölvuleiki” or “Talking about games” where we got local celebrities as guests and discussed their gaming hobbies and knowledge.
• Served as Head coach/coach at the first esports club to start youth operations in Iceland - Ármann esports where I planned and executed organized practices for up to 70 kids between 10-16 across multiple game titles

• Founded the Icelandic esports association, an organization aimed at legitimizing and supporting esports as a hobby that carries with it positive benefits if done correctly.
• Led financing on all early projects through sponsor and partner collaboration and value creation.
• Personally established competitive Leagues in CS:GO, League of Legends and FIFA (In collaboration with the Icelandic Football Association) including securing prizing, designing the show, recruiting talent and coordinating production and distribution of the final content
• Facilitated the formation of teams to build competitive leagues in Overwatch, Rocket League and more titles.
• Organized and executed 5 offline events around the finals of our competitive leagues and the international multi sport event series Reykjavík International Games
• Established teams to build Junior college esports championship and corporate esports championships within Iceland
• Established Stöð 2 esports, a dedicated TV channel for esports in Iceland in partnership with Sýn ehf. A leading media company in Iceland.
• Established a dedicated esports news section in partnership with two of the biggest web media platforms in Iceland visir.is and mbl.is
• Developed a theoretical and practical coaching education base that has been used to start 16 esports clubs around Iceland that serve 3% of kids between 6-16 in Iceland with access to structured coaching and educated professional coaches.
• Appointed to lead a committee on esports policy for the Icelandic government under the ministry of Sport, Culture and Education.
• Represented the Icelandic esports association in all media appearances and interviews
• Participated in multiple international panels, both in person (ESI London) and digitally.
• Delivered 100+ educational lectures and short courses on esports and esports development across business, schools and sports clubs in Iceland.
