• My teams expanded +20 local payment methods across key markets, built Reserve Now, Pay Later in the US, launched BNPL and virtual card issuance capabilities, and formed new global acquiring partnerships in LATAM, APAC, and EMEA. Spearheaded the design and implementation of Airbnb’s first financial ledgering system to meet public company reporting standards and led the company’s largest API migration, modernizing core payments infrastructure across 60+ services.

• Drove strategic and architectural roadmap for payments SCA / PSD2 compliance in EU for Ordering, coordinating the re-architecture and dial-up of over a dozen eCommerce and payments orchestration services across 10+ teams.
• Established new Amazon software engineering team in Vancouver, managing a team of 12 engineers.
• Led multi-org, multi-year program to build Amazon's first realtime, immutable ledger to comply with ASC 606 revenue recognition standards, covering +$100B global net sales/year.
• Led Black Friday 2017 platform scaling and planning for multiple Tier-1 services, seamlessly processing peak transaction volumes over two-day span.
