• Served as a member of the board of directors and a member of the audit committee for Petsmart, the largest pet specialty retailer in the United States (and owner of online retailer Chewy.com) through the sale of the company to Apollo in 2023.

• After success as CTO I was promoted to global CIO of GE leading our 15,000 technology professionals across all GE business units in 150+ countries. In this role I was responsible to the CEO and board of directors for delivering the digital transformation of GE’s business and the digital technology experience of over 200k+ GE colleagues including the Cybersecurity of GE’s global operations and intellectual property.
• In this role I successfully transformed the GE technology team from a traditional monolithic IT service organization to a modern Digital Technology team that were early adopters of cloud and hybrid infrastructure in an innovative manner unprecedented for a company of GE’s scale. I forged deep partnerships with tech companies like Microsoft and AWS as well as early stage and start up innovators to deliver a transformation that enabled GE to reduce cycle times, reduce the cost of delivering IT all while measurably improving the customer experience.
• Our success in this transformation was recognized by a number of industry associations and groups through awards from Orbie, CIO, Gartner and others including personally receiving the Orbie CIO and other leadership awards.

• I was recruited to join the senior leadership team of GE serving as Chief Technology Officer with responsibility across all GE business units globally. In this role I provided technical vision, strategy and planning for the technology serving our 200k+ employees operating across 6 operating companies in 150+ countries.
• As CTO I also served as the leader of GE’s captive Infrastructure Services business, GE CoreTech. GE CoreTech provided Cyber Security, Data Center, Infrastructure, Cloud, Network and End User services to GE businesses on a competitive billback model as well as serving external customers. With over 3,000 team members managing over $2b in annual billings GE CoreTech delivered annual YoY savings of over 5% under my leadership. GE CoreTech consistently outperformed leading non-captive external competitors resulting in revenue growth to GE for CoreTech services from non-GE customers.

• Post-acquisition I was named President and COO of Verizon Terremark a new standalone $1.4b business unit within Verizon formed by the combination of the Terremark, Digex, and CloudSwitch businesses. In this role I had full P&L responsibility for the Verizon Terremark business and was honored to lead our team of over 3,000 team members in 15 countries. Under my leadership over two years we grew the business from a starting -3.5% annual revenue decline to +2.3% of profitable annual growth. During the same period I increased our profit contribution back to Verizon by nearly $200m.
• Verizon Terremark was the Cloud, Hosting and Data Center division of Verizon. As an early innovator in cloud and managed hosting Verizon Terremark provided customers with innovative, cutting-edge technology. With services ranging from traditional data center colocation though hybrid public/private cloud customers relied on Verizon Terremark for their most critical operations.

• I joined Terremark as a Senior Vice President to lead the product development & engineering function then proceeded to expand responsibility through a number of executive roles culminating as Chief Operating Officer. During that period we grew Terremark from $187m to $351m of revenue, a 23% CAGR.
• Additionally, I served as President of Terremark Federal Group, our business focused on delivering secure services to the defense and intelligence community which was responsible for over 25% of Terremark’s annual revenue.
