We developed the global standard for W@H as part of the Golden Rules transformation and created state of the art work at height training in 3 levels (Basic, Intermediate and advance) for all employees at Yara. Thousands of employee were trained and this represented a reduction of the Major Potential incidents globally.

• Lead the implementation of HESQ Corporate Strategy within Production segment (30 chemical plants and 3 mines) generating best practices with safety culture - Process safety management – Managing the Risk and Learning from experience. Development and monitoring of TIP (Tactical Implementation Plan) for Corporate HESQ Strategy involving all the areas and initiatives of HESQ (Process Safety, Occupational Safety, environment, Product stewardship, Chemical compliance, security & emergency) in order to guarantee the achievement of the stablished KPI´s at corporate level.
• Working close with Central HESQ team to develop central initiatives such as: Yara HESQ Academy, Center of Expertise, Work at Heights CoE, and HESQ Temple model / Audits. As part of HESQ Production team, participating in Corporate audits, incident investigation and implementing Together We Learn and Safety Leadership trainings along Production sites and collaboration with other segments. Responsible to develop the networking of HESQ Core Team to develop and contribute to improve central initiatives and sharing experiences. Establishment of Internal audits and incident investigation in the region applying corporate tools and ICAM methodology. Implementation of Together we Care (Behavioral) program based on Safe Start principles. Low rate of Non Conformities related to quality specialists areas, electrical, instrumentation, civil, mechanical and others. Construction of Crop Nutrition Terminals (Yotoco, Colombia and Guatemala) with lowest TRI rates in the region and best
• quality standards to guarantee safe operations. Contribution to Production HESQ strategy at segment level and owner of the TIP and Core team of this strategy.

• Lead, manage and develop the strategy for the Leaf EHS area in Colombia with the following scope: Tobacco Processing Plant, national Tobacco Agencies and the Agricultural sector at a national level, delimiting management within EHS PMI international policies and practices. Take responsibility of the development, implementation and certification of the Management System for Workplace Safety and Health, OHSAS 18001, ISO 14001 Certifications in the Tobacco area as well as the program of external, internal, legal and corporate audits carried out. EHS Budget diagnosis and execution for Plant and agencies, reporting directly to EHS management at the Andean Cluster level. EHS Management reporting for Latin America and Canada regions (LA&C) of Incident Rates (TRI rate, LTI rate, Absenteeism, Nonconformities, Projects). Diagnosis and improvement of the technical environment related to fatal risks in the operation of tobacco nationwide to ensure legal compliance and PMI standards. Report to public environmental entities as required in the Environmental Plans, management of environmental permits and licenses for the operation of manufacturing and agriculture. Generate Health and Safety Culture awareness strategies to intervene in the behavior of people, focusing on safety as a life value, promoting behavioral observations that help reduce accident and absenteeism trends. Develop EHS structure of the tobacco area to provide an EHS service model with specialists in Manufacturing, Agriculture, Health and Environment. Regional HESQ Auditor for Latin America Region and HESQ Advisor for Andean Leaf Operations (Ecuador).

• Grupo Prodeco: Develop appropriate and effective intervention processes and sustainability of HES Corporate Management, generated during the execution of Mining, transportation and New Port Project & Operations, Trend analysis resulting from: HES Management, High Potential Incidents, substandard behaviors and conditions, that occurred in the operation and propose control measures and improvement for both PRODECO (Glencore) applicable to contractors. Support the implementation and achievement of the HES objectives and performance measures by the respective analysis and tracking against plans. Track the budget executed by the area and the state of compliance with respect to this budget, for presentation to the HES Management and external auditors. Develop effective interaction with Labor Insurance Company and Ministry of Labor Conditions and other external support agencies to optimize the resources for reinvestment and complementary programs, always adding value to the management of risks. Implementation of control measures by implementing programs for working at height, hot works, excavations and confined spaces.
