Our tech is designed to help farmers optimize operations, improve herd health and boost milk yield. Making sense of this information we provide actionable recommendations on how to (1) maximize milk yields (2) Boost reproduction rates (3) identify diseases instantly (4) Track geo-location
• Cowlar is currently involved with animal health/pharma R&D activities.
• In 2020 we launched another business unit called Cowlar Design Studio (or CDS). CDS helps startups and SMBs with Full Stack Design Engineering Services. Focus areas include IoT, Industrial Automation, Enterprise software development, OpSec / Cyber Security, Robotics, Machine Learning, Computer Vision, High-Performance computing, and end-to-end Multidiscplinary engineering.

• As Design Engineer (R&D) for an energy meter manufacturer I had the opportunity to complete a full development life-cycle for a three phase energy meter with semi- AMR capabilities. I have also gained valuable insight into validation, verification & testing, manufacturing processes, automation, product sampling/testing & quality control etc. List of achievements were:
• ► Development (in C/C++), troubleshooting & debugging of embedded firmware for a three phase energy meter in compliance with IEC 62052/IEC-62053 standards based on Teridian’s 6513 System-on-chip (SoC) & MSP430 microcontroller
• ► Testing, validation & verification of firmware by using automated test equipment (ATE) on IEC 62056-21 data exchange protocol
• ► Completed application layer for data exchange & communication protocol using IEC-62056-21
• Decoded communication protocol of Meter test benches (ATE) & performed software compatibility analysis
• ► Conducted extensive software testing (black box/white box testing) and validation of metering & tamper detection algorithms
• ► Optimized automated meter calibration procedures & developed firmware upgrade for auto calibration

• Worked in collaboration with Akhter Solar PLC, Pakistan’s first solar PV Module manufacturer.
• The project was funded by Akhter Solar PLC.
• The aim was to develop a cost effective single axis Intelligent Solar tracker
• The tracker implemented Maximum Power Point Tracking.
• Net output increased by 20 % & target for product cost was achieved.
• A research paper has also been written on this project.
