Most of the executives I work with are already capable. Growth hasn't stalled because of a lack of intelligence or ambition. It has stalled because the decision quality the role now demands has outpaced how they were prepared to decide. Too often, senior leaders are promoted for delivery and rewarded for compliance then expected to make irreversible decisions under pressure, with incomplete information and no real margin for error. The gap between expectation and reality is where my work sits. I advise CEOs and senior executives at the point where decisions carry more consequence than certainty. Where accountability cannot be shared and the cost of getting it wrong is material, commercially and culturally. This is the discipline I call Decision Intelligence, a rigorous approach to making consequential decisions with clarity about what you know, honesty about what you don't, and the judgment to act decisively in the space between. My focus is on how judgment is exercised and how authority is used. Especially on how trust holds when pressure intensifies and power becomes visible. Much of this work happens behind closed doors, supporting leaders as they navigate growth, capital, succession, and inflection points. Some of it surfaces in a different form. Because the leaders who decide well are rarely the ones who communicate that most clearly. The quality of thinking and the clarity of the story told about that thinking are not the same thing. That gap is where LEADERSTORY sits, the narrative architecture practice I built for senior executives who cannot afford to be misunderstood at board level, in investor rooms, during transitions, and at the moments that define how they are remembered. I am the author of The BRAVE Leader, designer of The BRAVE Leader training programme, and builder of BRAVE OS a research-led framework on leadership, power, and performance in complex systems. My work spans boardrooms, venture environments, and senior leadership teams internationally. If you are carrying responsibility for big decisions such as scaling, capital, succession, or exit, or you are accountable for those who are, I would welcome the conversation.
