Hi! I’m Prikshit, a 3rd-year Computer Science student at Chitkara University, Rajpura. With a strong interest in DevOps and cloud computing, I enjoy solving problems around system automation and building solutions that make cloud infrastructure simpler, faster, and more efficient using tools like AWS and Docker. One of my key projects is Cloud Control, an officially published Alexa Skill that enables voice-based management of AWS EC2 instances. By integrating Alexa with AWS Lambda and EC2 APIs, the system allows users to start, stop, and check instance status through simple voice commands. The goal of this project was to reduce operational friction in cloud management, common actions that typically take around 60 seconds through the AWS Console can now be completed in about 5 seconds, eliminating multiple navigation steps and enabling hands-free infrastructure control through a secure, event-driven serverless architecture. I also have a solid foundation in Data Structures and Algorithms in Java, which helps me approach complex technical challenges with a structured problem-solving mindset. Alongside this, I run a YouTube channel where I teach core Java concepts, making programming more accessible and easier to understand for learners. In addition, I enjoy building systems from scratch and exploring how things work under the hood. As a head of the Google Developer Group (GDG) in the Cloud domain, I actively explore modern technologies, collaborate with like-minded individuals, and continue to grow through hands-on projects.
