About

My path into engineering started with puzzles and paintbrushes. Some of my favorite childhood memories are playing logic games with my dad and doing weekly oil painting sessions with my mom. When I first started coding, it was through building websites, which felt like discovering a new creative medium. It was art + logic, and I was immediately hooked. Early in my career, I worried engineering would force me to choose between building things and connecting with people, and I questioned whether I truly belonged in tech. Engineering leadership is where it finally clicked. I am deeply nerdy about technology and building things. I stay hands-on, experimenting with new tools and AI and jumping into the code when it matters. But my unique strength is taking vague, high-stakes problems, aligning people across teams, and creating clear momentum and direction. In my current role, I lead a fast-growing payments organization through periods of scale and change. I have helped drive meaningful business growth while rebuilding team health, clarity, and execution. Colleagues have jokingly dubbed me the “Chief Energy Officer.” Outside of work, I am a mom, a trained yoga instructor, and a lifelong artist. I share here about engineering leadership, building high-performing teams, and the parts of technology and AI that genuinely excite me. Follow along.
