As the CHRO for Accenture in India, I am responsible for leading the human capital strategy for Accenture in India and enabling our 350,000+ people in India to be successful, professionally, and personally. I joined Accenture in 2003 and have held several HR leadership positions, supporting different Accenture businesses both locally and globally. Prior to joining Accenture, I worked with iGate (now Capgemini) and Nestle. I hold a Bachelor of Science degree in Economics from Presidency University, Kolkata, and an MBA in Human Resources from XLRI, Jamshedpur. I am a strong advocate of enabling equal and empowering cultures and am passionate about mentoring young people, especially young women from diverse socio-economic backgrounds and at their early career stages. I am a Melvin Jones fellow of Lions Club International and support activities that enable persons with disabilities. I am also Co-chair for FICCI’s HR & Skills Committee and on the advisory board for XLRI's Centre for Gender Equality and Inclusive Leadership (CGEIL). I live in Bangalore with my family and enjoy traveling and discovering local cultures, foods and languages. I can speak 5 languages fluently!
