Ramyatara Mullapudi is a brand designer and typographer from Hyderabad, India, now based in San Francisco. A Brand and Visual Designer at Poieto, a mission-driven creative tech start-up, she builds visual systems across brand and digital products while continuing to pursue independent typographic projects. In 2025, she completed her MFA in Graphic Design at California College of the Arts, where her thesis, Aksharaala Aata, explored deconstruction, modularity, and play in the Telugu script through open-ended typographic tools that invite active participation and creative exploration. Her work was showcased during SF Design Week 2025, and presented at TypeLabs Asia (Typographics 2025) She has previously interned at Siegel+Gale and contributed to exhibition design at CCA.
