• The Drexel dLUX Lab focuses on solutions to make the built environment healthier. My research and development activities were centered on the effects of circadian rhythm disruption from artificial light sources.
• Along with Dr. Eugenia Ellis, I co-developed one of the earliest color-tunable (RGBW) light fixtures for use in research studies. When paired with a properly-programmed control system, the luminaire could change in color temperature and intensity throughout the day, mimicking the patterns of the sun. The project was targeted specifically at patients suffering from dementia and Alzheimer's disease.
