I am a NATURE CONNECTOR by Passion and a LANDSCAPE ARCHITECT by profession-connecting people to NATURE in every possible space, to create Biophilic memories and improve productivity. I am an Indian Australian with 28 years of experience spanning across countries like Australia, India, Singapore, Kenya, Sri Lanka along with others. Presently offering services from Singapore and India. My firms-DEEPROOTS DESIGN and LIVING PRODUCTS PTE LTD are established in India and Singapore with the aim to add value to the projects and create place makers. We have successfully designed more than 40 million sqft in many parts of the world in the last 28 years that ranges from a small terrace to an entire city of Nagpur, India (227.4 km²). DEEPROOTS DESIGN was re-branded in 2011 from Rajalakshmi Iyer and Associates that was established in India in 1998.After designing more than 100 projects, I moved to Sydney and worked with well known design firms to gain valuable international exposure. Sensing that Asia will be the next growth market started my new practice called DEEPROOTS DESIGN, in India (Pune) in 2011 to provide landscape design service . LIVING PRODUCTS PTE LTD was started in Singapore to create innovative landscape products. Our first product the Harita is a patented design that revolutionized how nature can be made part of our spaces in creative way. Our philosophy has been to enrich spaces and lives through our biophilic and contemporary landscape designs that are deep -rooted in the culture and context of the site- both INDOORS AND OUTDOORS. We worked on the first Richard Meier project in India as the Landscape architects, along with other medium and large scale projects for Microsoft, Google, Capitaland to name a few. Specialties: Bespoke , landscape design, innovative landscape products, allergy free designs, xeriscaping, sacred plant design, urban landscapes, residences, rooftops, corporate campuses, IT parks, factories and cultural landscapes.. We design customised Landscape products and collaborate with consultants to create a seem-less experience with Nature in any space possible. WINNER of the VIA entrepreneur award 2005 ,ISOLA LANDMARK AWARD 2015 , Women excellency Gold award from NRI association , Singapore 2020 ,The Real Women awards 2021 and Featured as top 45 women Entrepreneurs of Indian origin in the coffee table book released by the Hon. president of Singapore Madam Halimah Yacob in 2022, The Empower HER National Naredco Mahi award in 2024 and the SME500 award in Singapore in 2024.
