I’m a self-taught tester who grew step by step into a Senior QA Lead for the City of Reykjavik, where I guide quality efforts across citizen-facing web applications. That journey taught me both leadership and the craft of automation - how to balance strategy with hands-on delivery under real business pressure. My expertise is functional testing, test automation, and test management. I work hands-on with Playwright + TypeScript, Postman, and Cypress, building frameworks from scratch with clean design (POM, fixtures, data isolation) and integrating them into CI/CD pipelines with reporting. I’m comfortable in Agile environments, bringing both scenario-based testing and end-to-end automation into the delivery flow. As an additional edge, I also bring experience in accessibility testing (WCAG 2.2), combining automated checks with practical guidance for UX and dev teams. I’ve worked on both local and international projects, and I’m always looking to bring that mix of detail-orientation, collaboration, and continuous learning to remote-ready teams in fintech, SaaS, or e-commerce.
