About

I am a professor for Interaction Design at the Technische Hochschule Ingolstadt with a focus on human centered design of man machine interfaces for products and services. My work experience in industry builds on international innovation projects that inform and develop strategies, products, services, man-machine-interaction and user experience. I apply human-centered and design-driven methodologies, including user research, design thinking, service design, open innovation and co-creation. I have worked with and consulted corporate and SME-sized partners as well as start-ups from automotive, household appliance, energy and telecommunication industries among others. I have gained my professional experience living and working in Asia, Europe and the U.S.. A majority of my work has been part of digital transformation/ innovation initiatives. I´m driven by the larger picture: Understanding the application of tech and its implications for people and society at the same time. I have helped to set up practices, develop work cultures and change management processes based on this approach.
