About

Hi, I’m Nick 👋 Most people think wealth disappears because of bad investments. In reality, it often disappears because the next generation wasn’t prepared to manage it. That’s why my work focuses on more than portfolios. I help successful families think through the decisions that shape wealth over time — from tax strategy and estate planning to preparing the next generation for responsibility. Before starting Third Act Wealth Management, I worked at a large national firm serving high-net-worth clients. Over time, I saw a pattern. Many successful families were receiving generic strategies for very personal financial situations. So I left to build something more thoughtful. Today, Third Act Wealth Management serves entrepreneurs, retirees, and families who want a more coordinated approach to their wealth. Our work often centers on: • tax strategy and wealth preservation • estate and legacy planning • preparing the next generation for financial responsibility • long-term decision making around wealth Because building wealth is only part of the story. Sustaining it across generations requires planning, communication, and clarity. If you’ve spent decades building wealth and want a more intentional strategy for what comes next, feel free to reach out. — Securities and advisory services offered through LPL Financial, a registered investment advisor. Owner and Wealth Manager

  • After 11+ years working with high-net-worth clients, I keep seeing the same gap: Successful people with $2MM+ in assets getting treated like every other retiree.
  • So I sought out CEG Consulting and leveraged their research of 10,000 high achievers to understand what wealthy clients actually expect from their wealth managers. The findings were eye-opening: less than 7% of wealth managers are committed to providing the level of service our clients seek.
  • That's why I started Third Act Wealth Management — to be part of that 7%.
  • We work with pre-retirees and retirees ages 55-75 who've built serious wealth but need planning that goes beyond basic portfolio management. Think complex tax optimization, sophisticated estate strategies, and wealth protection that most advisors never discuss.
  • If you've outgrown your current advisor but aren't sure about the "big firm" experience, we built a 5-step financial planning process specifically for your situation.
  • Send me a message to set up a free exploratory consultation.

  • For three summers, I ran my own business selling Southwestern Advantage's educational products door-to-door. I prospected and approached nearly 10,000 families from different socioeconomic backgrounds, handling everything from sales and accounting to ordering, scheduling, and delivery.
  • In door-to-door sales, you face a lot of rejection. But you also learn a lot. And mostly, it teaches you how to truly listen to understand what people actually need.
  • Learning to connect with people from all walks of life and understanding their real concerns turned out to be exactly what I needed when I started working with families who'd built significant wealth but weren't sure their current advisor really understood their situation.
