Business Leader with over 18 years of experience in infrastructure and industrial sectors. Mohammad is part of PwC’s one consulting leadership team. He leads the Capital Projects and Infrastructure competency for the firm. He is responsible for consulting business across roads, ports, airports, public transport, logistics and industrial infrastructure right from strategy to execution. He has been involved in various buy and sell side mandates of infrastructure assets. He has been significantly involved in Public Transport projects across Metro and Bus transport including Electric Mobility. He has led conceptualisation and delivery of 5 national industrial corridors. He has been significantly involved in the decarbonization of transport agenda for various ministries including Roads & Transport and Heavy Industry. Before joining, PwC, Mohammad worked for 2 years in Siemens in their Mobility division. He has published policy briefs along with ADB. At PwC, Mohammad has set up Industrial Development and Investment Promotion (IDIP) platform that enables growth and entry strategy for manufacturing and services sector firms in India and has been involved in successful multi-billion-dollar investments of several MNCs and global fortune 500 companies in India. Led large scale industrial and infrastructure transformation projects in Middle East ( Saudi Arabia, UAE, Qatar and Oman), South Asia including Bhutan, Sri Lanka and Bangladesh, and Africas. Mohammad received the prestigious ET 40 under 40 Award in 2022, which identifies India’s top CEOs of the future. He is also a distinguished young alumnus of IIT Kharagpur.
