• Designed and developed the Integration Layer - an event-driven performance and orchestration layer written in Java and Spring Boot, and pushed forward the migration to a new Salesforce-based backend whilst ensuring backwards compatibility in our REST APIs for client applications. Added multiple caching layers with Redis, Mongo, and Caffeine to enable quick response, minimize network latency, and optimize throughput. Utilized Apache Kafka to consume events and processed them with the Java-based microservice for cache invalidation and orchestration. Enabled MDC-based log tracing for optimal debugging on Elastic and Kibana.
• Built an intermediary response mapping mechanism for two highly unlike systems to interoperate with Jackson in Java.

• Developed APIs to support Healthpay - a seamless payment option to pay for your healthcare needs using Health Plans or Vouchers available to users by scanning a QR at clinics, labs etc.

• As a full-stack engineer, I worked with the ManagedCare team to build services that enhanced report generations for customer acquisition, enhanced apis to integrate payment data into our systems from across teams in Java Spring Boot and React. Enhanced the UIs to create products and related benefits with ease.
