Based in Boston, Denis has worked across technology banking, fintech, and management consulting. He currently leads the Eastern US Technology Startup Banking team at SVB. Prior to returning to SVB, Denis supported and advised PaceZero Capital Partners, a sustainability-focused private credit fund based in Toronto. Previously, he was Chief Commercial Officer at Ledn, a then-Series B fintech company which provides financial products with a mission to help clients across the world unlock the power of digital assets. Between 2018-2022, Denis led Strategy and Operations at Silicon Valley Bank Canada, supporting the bank's expansion in Canada to better serve the country’s technology and life science companies, as well as venture capital firms. Prior to joining SVB, Denis was a strategy consultant who advised executives and led cross-functional teams for a broad set of national and international clients spanning across payments, financial services, travel, exhibitions, services and technology. In 2018, Denis spent six months volunteering for Humana People to People Botswana, a Gaborone based non-governmental organization, where he led the development and launch of a corporate funding strategy as well as advised on marketing and go-to-market efforts. Denis holds an Honors Business Administration degree from the Ivey Business School and held various Board positions on the Alumni Association's Toronto Chapter between 2013 and 2016.
