About

Former SDE 2 on Amazon’s Social Marketing team, where I built and operated global software that integrates with advertising platforms like Meta, Snap, and Pinterest. I build reliable, scalable, and well-tested software deployed to AWS. I’m deepening my ML skills through graduate coursework with the Stanford Center for Professional Development. NYU CS alum with a machine-learning focus. I’ve also spent 5 years volunteering as an AP Computer Science teacher for under-resourced students.

Teals program

Volunteer AP Computer Science Teacher

Jun 2020Jun 2025 · 5 yrs · Remote

  • Volunteered with Microsoft’s Technology Education and Literacy in Schools (TEALS) program, which pairs industry professionals with high schools to build sustainable computer science programs and train classroom teachers to teach CS independently.
  • Taught Introduction to Python and AP Computer Science A (Java), supporting students across multiple schools in Oregon, Washington, and Florida.
  • Mentored students in core programming concepts, problem-solving, and AP exam preparation, expanding their awareness of CS careers and pathways.
  • Co-taught alongside classroom teachers, modeling effective CS instruction and gradually shifting ownership so teachers could independently deliver the curriculum in future years.
  • Coached and mentored teachers on curriculum, pacing, and assessment, helping schools establish long-term, self-sustaining CS offerings aligned with TEALS’ mission to broaden access to computer science.

Wisewallet

Co-Founder and CTO

Mar 2018Feb 2019 · 11 mos · New York, New York, United States · On-site

  • Co-founded WiseWallet, a values-based personal finance startup exploring how to give consumers transparency into the social, environmental, and governance impact of their everyday purchases. As CTO, I led technical direction and hands-on development of the iOS app and AWS-based backend (Lambda, EC2, API Gateway, MongoDB, Plaid) from zero to a functional pre-launch MVP. I designed and implemented RESTful APIs to ingest and classify transaction data, map merchants to impact data, and surface simple impact insights inside the product.
  • In parallel, I drove customer discovery and experimentation, running interviews, surveys, landing-page tests, and ad campaigns to validate problem-solution fit and refine our revenue model. These learnings ultimately led us toward a potential pivot in the business model. WiseWallet participated in NYU’s J-Term Startup Sprint, Startup Bootcamp, the Innovention Competition, Y Combinator’s Startup School, and AWS Activate.
