• As part of the climate change and sustainability services team at KPMG India, I have been working on number of solutions. I have been client facing right since I joined the organization and have an experience working in a large number of sectors including oil & gas, cement, iron and steel, metals and mining, IT, power, chemicals etc.
• As an Assistant Manager at KPMG I have been leading projects and have been designated the project manager for few of them. My responsibilities include effective execution of projects, client management, resource planning and delivery and also business development through development of pitch-packs and client meetings. I have also been made responsible for development of team members through effective mentoring and training.
• I have worked on sustainability reporting advisory & assurance, GHG accounting advisory & assurance, sustainability strategy development, management systems implementation, stakeholder engagement, development of sustainability frameworks and policies, development of business responsibility reports and CSR. I am GRI certified sustainability reporting professional on the G3.1 and G4 guidelines and have contributed to the development and assurance of some of India's earliest sustainability reports developed using the G4 guidelines.

• As a Senior at KPMG I was handling the project execution for a number of clients for sustainability reporting assurance as well development of sustainability reports for a number of them.
• The highlight of my stint as a Senior was the successful execution of the 'True Value' project which included monetizing the environmental as well as social externalities of business and internalizing them to the company's bottom line. This tool helps companies identify and address future challenges to their business. The project also involved developing a sustainale roadmap for the company with identification of key focus areas.
• In addition to this, I worked on a number of other solutions such as GHG accounting advisory & assurance, environmental footprinting, development of GHG mitigation strategies, implementation of management systems etc.

• During my stint as an executive at KPMG's CC&S team, I have worked on a number of climate change as well as sustainability related solutions. To name a few, I have worked on developing the GHG inventory as GHG reduction roadmap and strategy for a major Indian cement manufacturer, a Sri Lankan hotels and hospitality major and an Indian metals and mining major. I also worked on CDM advisory projects in the renewable energy and energy efficiency space, helping the clients to smoothly register their CDM projects with the UNFCCC. I also worked on a number of sustainability reporting assurance projects across various sectors such as cement, oil & gas, hotels and hospitality and IT. I was also involved in the development of sustainability reports of clients in the automotive and oil & gas sectors.

• As part of my winter internship at KPMG, i got the opportunity to work on a sustainability reporting assurance project for a major Indian cement manufacturer. Additionally I also developed a white paper on 'A Greener North' in collaboration with CII for their Northern Region summit in 2010. This white paper elaborated the various actual and potential high environmental impacts in the northern regions of India and also the various levers that could be helpful in reducing the negative environmental impacts.

• As a summer intern at KEC international, I was involved in the development of their safety management systems at their project sites. This included visiting their site locations, understanding the site specific safety hazards and challenges, developing their safety manual and developing an organizational structure for implementing the safety management system.
