• Research Topic:- Understanding thermodynamics and kinetics of Crystallization in Gas Hydrates using molecular simulations. I used trajectory based analysis methods like Transition Path sampling and Transition Interface Sampling to study the mechanism of how the energy rich cages of hydrates are formed. Beyond this, Nucleation of NaCl salt is also under investigation using molecular dynamics. Beyond this, I work with Monte-Carlo and CFD simulation

• As a part of "Mature asset" team of Cairn India, I build a probabilistic mineral model to quantify the mineral composition and henceforth Organic matter concentration in Barmer HIll formation, Barmer Basin at Rajasthan. The model build was based on wire-line data from well drilled at different locations.
• The mineral model was validated by Core-data and various deterministic methods like Passey, Meyers and Schmoker method to evaluate TOC.
• Achievement :
• Tested the model at an un-known location and got well correlated results with core data.
• Recommended the Mineral Model to the team for future evaluation

• Society of Petroleum Geophysicists India was stated on August 15, 1992 and has chapters in 12 leading colleges focusing on Oil and Gas Industry. Being the VP of the Chapter, I led a team of 45 students to organize India's biggest Earth Science Symposium, Prithvi 2014. A lucid account of our success story includes :-

• Participation from more than 38 universities
• I was instrumental in contributing a sponsorship amount Rs 6 Lakh by establishing strong liaison between Cairn India, Total, Essar, ONGC, SPG and various media houses and my department. My involvement was also in conceptualization of events like Geo-click and online quiz which expanded our online activities and 3 workshops on well logging, remote sensing and mineral exploration .
