I consider my work as a spiritual practice. Here's my journey till now: 1990: Born 1994: Came first in class, but my name was second on the board; cried. 1997: Cut my lip playing cricket with the bigger boys. 2000: Wrote my first poem 'My Dog' which was published in 'The Tribune'. Was paid Rs. 50/poem. 2005: Became the head-boy/school pupil leader. 2006: Won the second prize in an essay competition organized by the RBI. Naana ji was proud! 2008: Entered NUJS, Kolkata. Renamed my Orkut profile as TaNUJS. It seemed cool then. 2010: Started freelance writing for websites like LegallyIndia, BarandBench. Blogavatar: LegalPoet Started Lawctopus 2011: Fell in love. First 10-day Vipassana Retreat. 2013: Graduated First job as VP Marketing; quit after 4 months. Took Lawctopus full-time. 2015: Wrote the book 'Law as a Career' (LexisNexis). 2015-17: Explored Landmark Forum/Education. Went on to complete the ILP (Introduction Leaders Program). 2017: Started NoticeBard.com 2019 -present: Exploring the Madhyasth Darshan/Jeevan Vidya philosophy. Complete an MA in Law, Politics, and Society from AUD, Delhi. Eye-opener. Learned deeply about inequality. 2020: Started Lawctopus Law School. Rode the COVID ed-tech wave well. 2021: Found my soul-mate. 2023: Half-time sabbatical to explore Jeevan Vidya/Madhyasth Darshan. Half-time CEO! 2024: Became a Parent Explore Srikumar Rao's work (thanks Mindvalley) 2025: Moving towards becoming an ICF-certified coach; thanks Coacharya Moving on a clear path to scaling up for Lawctopus
