It addresses a growing structural gap: older adults are increasingly digitally active, yet most platforms are built for younger, digitally native users, leaving this “Transitional Digital Generation” underserved and vulnerable to poor user experience, exclusion and mistrust. As this cohort rapidly expands and becomes more reliant on digital services, the demand for accessible, human-centred connection platforms will only increase.
