Dr. Hassan Tariq Ph.D. — Director of Engineering

As an Assistant Professor at the University of Agriculture, Faisalabad (UAF), I have been teaching and conducting research in the fields of bioinformatics, computer science, artificial intelligence and generative AI for over five months. I have a PhD in Computer Science from Victoria University of Wellington, where I won the Victoria doctoral scholarship for my research on modelling Hadoop job performance and resource utilization using machine learning approaches. I am also a certified Data Analytics professional, having completed the Google Data Analytics Certificate from Coursera. I am passionate about bridging the gap between academia and industry, and enhancing the quality and relevance of education and research in my field. That is why I serve as the Convener of Stakeholders and Industrial Linkages, and the Focal Person for Accreditation and HEC Placement Test at UAF. About my administrative experience, I am also Team Lead of HPC @ UAF. Departmental focal person of Quality Enhancement Cell, Outcome-based education and Coordinator of BS programs in Artificial intelligence, Data Science and Bioinformatics.
