I co-lead Heard, a boutique music supervision agency dedicated to enabling visual storytelling with the best music by curating and promoting exceptional artists and composers. Prior to Heard, I spent two years at Netflix India on the Music Creative and Production team. There, I had the privilege of collaborating with remarkable directors, producers, composers, and music supervisors, along with the talented internal teams at Netflix. I contributed to enhancing the music for acclaimed titles such as Class, Kaala Paani, The Indrani Mukerjea Story, The Hunt for Veerappan, and more. My responsibilities included advising on music budgets, talent considerations, music schedules, and creatively reviewing background scores and songs. Apart from titles, we worked on various initiatives such as workshops on music supervision and music editing - to identify gaps and instil best practices in the industry. My journey in the music business began after about seven years as a composer on commercial projects and producing songs for independent artists.
