Hi! I am Lentin Joseph I am a passionate roboticist, author, and educator from India with over 15 years of experience in robotics software, computer vision, and AI. I’ve written 11 books on ROS, including the latest one, Mastering ROS 2 for Robotics Programming. ROS 2 for Robotics Programming. I’m the founder and CTO of RUNTIME Robotics, where we focus on building innovative solutions in robotics and artificial intelligence. Through Robocademy, I’m on a mission to create the next generation of robotics and AI engineers by sharing real-world knowledge and hands-on skills. I specialise in ROS 2, OpenCV, and PCL, and love turning complex topics into practical learning experiences. My journey began with a gesture- and speech-controlled robot during my college days — it even made it to the media! I’ve had the opportunity to do research at Carnegie Mellon University’s Robotics Institute and to speak at TEDx about my journey. I hold a Master’s in Robotics and a Bachelor's in Electronics and Communication. I believe that with the proper guidance, anyone can enter this exciting field.
