About

I am a passionate social impact leader with over two decades of experience driving sustainable change for vulnerable communities. As President of Vitamin Angels India, my work focused on providing life-saving nutrition interventions to at-risk women and children, partnering with organizations to reach those most underserved by public health infrastructure. Together with a talented team, we tackled undernutrition in some of the most vulnerable populations across India. Our work included understanding the state ecosystem, policies and implementation framework, and supporting the governments in reaching those who remain underserved for a variety of reasons. We also provided direct support on micronutrient supplementation - some of the most effective evidence-based nutrition interventions for under-5 children and anemic girls and women. Over the years, my work has: - Helped generate over £1.5m in revenue for the British government through chargeable services to UK SMEs. - Established global value chains to scale and commercialize IP via strategic partnerships between UK and Indian companies. - Created a market-based model for affordable housing, enabling the construction of thousands of informal sector workers in India and validating the concept of hybrid value chains in social entrepreneurship. - Facilitated the election of 50 system-changing social entrepreneurs as Ashoka Fellows. - Helped mobilize over $3m at Ashoka to support systems thinking work during my 9-year tenure. - Co-founded a 100+ organization coalition in youth development, collaboratively creating a robust working architecture in India. - Over 10,000 middle schoolers in India were educated on road safety, focusing on empathy and hazard perception. - Developed and implemented a civic engagement model for rectifying accident blackspots. I also co-lead Catalyst 2030, a global movement of social innovators working towards the UN SDGs. As Chair of the Executive Group - India Chapter, I facilitate the growth of a coalition of changemakers driving large-scale societal and environmental impact. In addition to these roles, I mentor and advise social enterprises that tackle inequities in health, education, housing, and road safety. Whether you're a corporate partner looking to align your brand with meaningful social impact or a CSR leader seeking to co-create scalable programs, I welcome the opportunity to collaborate. Together, we can address some of India’s most pressing health challenges and contribute to a healthier, more equitable future.
