• Learnt how to be a leader while scoping / managing my own work. Worked in a lot of cross-team projects that made me some friendships more than a network. Made more than my few share of mistakes while at it, got to see some global scale in my work! My bread and butter: Excel, Alteryx, Tableau, and I learnt a little bit of Python and PowerBI.
• Also realized that I'd like to be on the client side of things.

• in coolness quotient: I've interviewed entrepreneurs, creators, some of India's rising artists/musicians, the people who run Gurgaon's massive alcohol industry, music managers, and my friends :)
• in the things I've covered: media (music and movies) business, Succession, Sriram Raghavan, the LinkedIn influencer complex, the business of live music in India, Delhi hip-hop, Gurgaon alcohol, Abdu Rozik and Hasbulla!

• Interned in Anthill's consumer fund. It was entirely virtual, but this was the biggest learning curve I had in any internship. Lots of due diligence on: fitness tech, F&B, women's pads, grooming, petcare, agri-tech. And I thought I might want to pursue venture at some point.

• Was part of a pro-bono virtual student consulting where we were in chat with a honey-maker based out of the Middle East. Not sure why they wanted to know what we thought but, hey, it was fun for us to see how they work!

• this was in CoVID. possibly my most on-ground internship: I actually went down to kirana stores and shops in some target areas in the city and surveyed their SKUs. I learnt a LOT about how milk distribution worked in Bhubaneswar (my hometown) and why it's so different for a milk co-op versus a venture-funded startup. this was really fun.

• won this internship as part of a research competition by SRCC. got to know quite a bit about how data collection (and visualization) works in policy. also figured out that though I like data, I don't really enjoy policy.

• spent one summer month in 2018 under a graasroots NGO connected with CRY. organized activities for the kids under the NGO, imparted social and critical thinking skills to them, prepared them for the CRY Summer of Joy event where they were required to perform as a team.
