About

A large part of my career (22+ yrs with 19yrs. as people leader) has been spent wearing multiple hats under the humble disguise of a Manager, Operations and Head Roles. From solving production challenges, building scalable game operations, managing teams across time zones, setting up infrastructure, and driving business growth. I’ve always been deeply involved in making things work and helping them grow. Over the years, I’ve had the privilege of playing a part in building studios and functions from scratch — across QA, Customer Support, Operations, and Compliance — in companies, and now as Founder & CEO of Okimi Studios. I’ve scaled teams from zero to hundreds across multiple locations, built P&L systems, designed recruitment engines, created training programs, and worked closely with production and publishing teams across platforms and genres. Another key component of my career has been building and scaling startups and that’s something I’ve truly enjoyed. I think, the challenges of early-stage environments have always brought out the best in me. But what gives me true satisfaction isn’t just the scale! It’s the trail that’s been left behind. 🔹 Many of my former team members now work across the industry in strong, impactful roles Some have started their own ventures in India and abroad. 🔹 The companies I helped build continue to support the industry, create jobs, and nurture talent long after I’ve moved on. That, to me, is the real mark of progress. I’m still full of energy, curiosity, and drive. I believe I have a lot more to give — to the industry, to the community, and especially to the young talent in India exploring careers in gaming and tech. One of my biggest passions has always been teaching. Since 2006, I’ve found joy in mentoring, conducting workshops, and creating learning environments. Whether for new hires or emerging leaders. That same spirit led to the creation of Glidde by Okimi, a learning and mentorship platform to help young professionals break into the games industry with real-world skills and industry readiness. Today, as I build Okimi Studios, the startup life keeps me on my toes reconnecting me with uncertainty, problem-solving, and limitless possibility.
